| The ICFHA is continually
setting a standard of excellence in the death care industry. The
ICFHA is answering questions about day-to-day operations of our
members. We respond to consumer complaints that are usually no more
than a lack of communication or a personality conflict between the
consumer and a member. We are offering continuing education and
certification programs. We hold two conventions each year and two
workshops. We also work legislative issues diligently.
We have now turned the corner of the twenty first
century by promoting excellence through education. During this century,
we are finding that consumers expect more and are much more networked
than in the past. This issue alone is why we must continue to learn
how to satisfy our customers so that our businesses can flourish.
The following are essentials of a good business plan:
ADVERTISING |
Get your name in front of the public eye as often
as possible. |
EDUCATION |
Knowledge about your industry impresses consumers. |
SERVICE |
Fulfilling your commitments to each and every consumer is
service. |
ETHICS |
Treat everyone like you would like to be treated |
PERSONNEL |
Polite and educated employees reflect the type of business
you are. |
KEEPING UP WITH TECHNOLOGY |
Consumers are impressed with state of the art technology. |
The ICFHA offers a variety of seminars that address these essentials.
Our conventions and workshops are designed to encompass all of your
needs to be successful. Your participation keeps you clearly in
the loop!
Beginning in 2005, we will be offering two designations for the
ultimate Illinois Cemetery Professional, ICP/MICP. You can be proud
to be a member of an association that thinks out of the box and
is always striving for excellence.
